How to Add Review Schema to Your Draftly Site for Google Stars

Review stars (⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐) in Google results make your listing stand out and drive more clicks.

What You Need

  • Actual customer reviews (minimum 5, ideally 10+)
  • An average rating above 4.0 (Google won't show stars for low-rated content)
  • Reviews to be genuine and from real customers

Schema Type to Use

For most businesses: `AggregateRating` combined with `LocalBusiness` or `Product` schema.

Adding the Schema in Draftly

Go to Site Settings → Custom Code → Before `` and add:

```json
```

Update name, ratingValue, and reviewCount with your actual data.

Keeping It Accurate

Update the reviewCount and ratingValue whenever your review numbers change significantly. Inaccurate schema can result in Google ignoring it.

Testing

Validate at search.google.com/test/rich-results before and after adding. Confirm Google can read the schema and no errors appear.

Timeline

After adding correct schema: 1-4 weeks before review stars may appear in results (Google needs to crawl and re-evaluate the page).
