Why a Chatbot That Knows Your Business Is Different
Most website chatbots are generic — they capture a name and email and promise someone will follow up. A site-aware AI chatbot is fundamentally different: it knows your products, your pricing, your FAQs, and your contact details because it was trained on your website content at launch.
When a visitor asks 'Do you offer home delivery?', a site-aware chatbot answers immediately: 'Yes, we deliver within 10 km of our Koramangala kitchen. Orders over ₹500 get free delivery.' No human intervention. No follow-up delay. No lost inquiry.
The Draftly Approach: Knowledge Extracted at Generation
Draftly's AI chatbot is unique in how it is trained. When your site is generated, the AI automatically extracts a structured knowledge document — your products and prices, your FAQs, your contact information, your opening hours, your service area. This knowledge powers the chatbot from day one.
When you update your site via chat editing ('change the delivery minimum to ₹300'), the chatbot's knowledge updates automatically. You never need to retrain it manually.
Setting Up Your Draftly AI Chatbot
- Go to Site Settings → AI Chatbot.
- Toggle Enable chatbot on. The chatbot widget appears on your live site immediately.
- Optionally customise: chatbot name, greeting message, and the CTAs it should push (WhatsApp, booking, contact form).
- Review and edit the auto-extracted knowledge document if you want to add context or correct any details.
What the Chatbot Does and Does Not Do
The chatbot answers factual questions about your business (products, pricing, hours, delivery, services). It does not replace human customer service for complex complaints or sensitive issues. For anything it cannot answer confidently, it redirects to your WhatsApp or contact form — no dead ends.
Credit Usage
Each visitor message costs 1 chat credit from your plan. Free plan includes 50 chat interactions per month. Pro plan includes 2,000. Upgrade from Settings → Plan if you need more.
Monitoring Chatbot Conversations
All chatbot conversations are logged in your Leads Dashboard. Review them regularly to identify common questions you have not addressed on your website — each unanswered question is an SEO content opportunity.
